Job description
As a professional secretary with the highest standards, you will be at the forefront of Lidl UK’s ambitious expansion plans in your region. Based within the Property Office you will make use of a range of talents, multi-tasking as you liaise with our Wimbledon Head Office, other property offices and external consultants on new build, refurbishment and extension projects.
What will you do?
- Preparing reports, overviews and executive summaries and consolidating documents
- Managing diaries and arranging meetings both internally and externally
- Coordinating appointments and managing agendas
- Audio and copy typing
- Liaising with our Head Office, other property offices and external consultants
- Assisting the Property Team with ad hoc tasks and providing administrative support on new build, refurbishment and extension projects
- Organising, managing and monitoring store repair orders
- Raising Purchase Orders, appointing contractors and processing invoices
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and post
- Maintaining information databases
What will you need?
- Solid secretarial/administrative experience, ideally in the property/construction sector
- PC literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent audio and copy typing skills (minimum 50 words per minute) coupled with outstanding attention to detail
- A genuine passion for performing administration tasks effectively, efficiently and to a high standard
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A team player who is also capable of performing tasks independently
- Motivated and proactive
- Good literacy and numerical skills
