What are key highlights of this role?



We are currently seeking a great Area Manager to be situated in the North East (Newcastle, York, Boston, Bradford). You will be a commercial and strategic people manager with a real passion for results and relationships.


As part of the L’Oreal Professionnel Sales Team, you will report into the Commercial Director and be responsible for managing all aspects of the territory


You will manage a team of dynamic Senior Account Managers, Account Managers and Mobile Account Executives to ensure the development of the salon’s business through the use and sale of highly creative and effective products with the objective of exceeding Company growth and distribution expectations and developing successful sales people.



Key Responsibilities:



As an Area Manager you will be accountable for driving growth in your territory, to be achieved through the following:



  • You will lead high level negotiations with key competitors and existing clients
  • You will thrive in winning new business through your team and also individually
  • Development of key strategic initiatives through using your understanding of key market insights
  • You will have the autonomy to find opportunities and create a strategic vision for your team
  • Team management will be a core part of your role from driving critical metrics, brand awareness and driving yours teams development
  • Through your dedicated nature you will actively seek out new solutions and ideas for your direct team and the wider L’Oréal network.

  

You will maintain strong relationships with key salons and hairdressers on the area and craft a partnership with conquest salons. You will have close contact with your direct team, the other Area Managers and the Commercial Director. You will ensure your team works closely with the Technical Consultants and have contact with employees from the other Professional Products brands as well as with the marketing team and trade marketing.
