About The Role

Eleven million customers a week. Over 500 supermarkets. New, exciting wholesale ventures with Amazon, McColl's and Motor Fuels Group. Just some of the reasons why now’s a great time to make it as a Management Accountant at Morrisons Head Office in Bradford.

Finance is crucial to our success and you’ll play your part by taking on a range of key tasks. Annual budgets; quarterly forecasting; balance sheet controls and reconciliations: you’ll tackle all the above in our Commercial Finance team. You’ll also be in charge of month–end processes, including accruals and prepayments, generation of P&Ls, variance analysis and commentary for management accounts and board packs. Smarter, simpler approaches are on our agenda, so if you can improve efficiency, you will.

About You
A qualified Accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACA or ACCA), you’ll be right at home in a fast-paced business. You love being part of a team and working with colleagues within and outside Finance. You’ve worked on monthly management accounts packs before and you’ve got the IT skills required: Advanced Excel and ideally Oracle too. You combine your sound technical knowledge with good organisation. With regular deadlines to meet, you’ll know how to manage your time well.
