We're looking for experienced Buying Managers to join us at our Support centre in Bradford. You’ll be joining our large trading team of circa 450 people who decide what we sell and at what price. We negotiate deals with suppliers. We listen to what brands and products our customers want. And we look for the best local produce, tracking down products around the world to meet constantly changing tastes.

What will I do in the role of a Buying Manager at Morrisons?
Drive profitability through sales
Show clear understanding of product range in terms of quality, cost and direction
Develop ranges and products to suit customer needs
Ensure continuity of supply and product availability through daily communication with stores, supply chain and logistics
Manage the supplier base to achieve costs and other benefits in the best interests of the business
What do I need to be a success in the role?
Previous experience of buying within a fast paced trading environment, potentially you might have bought 1 to 2+ different large categories as a buying manager or perhaps some smaller but more complex categories
A good eye for detail and excellent communication skills
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills are really key
Innovative thinking to drive continuous improvement and sales
An interest in the retail industry
