Research Coordinator (Mystery Shopper)12 month FTC – Part-time 2.5-3 days a week in London

Which? is the largest independent consumer organisation in the UK. We champion consumers through extensive advice on products and services and enacting positive change through our campaigns on consumer issues.

What are you going to do:

One of our impartial methods of assessing the quality of goods or services is our mystery shopping programme. As part of our Consumer Research & Science Team, we’re looking for an experienced Research Coordinator to take ownership of the full lifecycle of our mystery shopping projects across a number of different sectors and industries.

What you’ll be doing

As Research Coordinator you’ll liaise across the team to understand our research needs and how mystery shopping can support those aims. You will provide costings, check screening frameworks, quotas and develop project specs. You’ll manage our relationship with temporary field workers, determining who is best placed to support, and providing all practical information. You’ll also be on hand to monitor the progress of the project(s) whilst in field, supporting temporary staff with any challenges or queries, updating multiple stakeholders, and occasionally dealing with external agencies.

We’re also offering the chance to get involved in some other projects in the team, for example validating prices of products reviewed on www.which.co.uk. You will also be trained in the software we use to select participants for our extensive online survey programme and will help test our surveys before they are launched.

To apply, please email your CV and covering letter to courtney.suhr@which.co.uk

What we offer:

Our rewards package is one of the best out there. You’ll get 28 days’ annual leave, an interest-free season ticket loan, life assurance, and a generous pension scheme. And you can work every day knowing that you’re playing your part in making consumers as powerful as the organisations they deal with.

What we ask:

  • GCSE's or A levels
  • Ability to work alone and with minimal supervision
  • Experience and knowledge of the market research industry
  • Problem solving skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and in a sometimes fast-paced environment
  • Windows (Office suite): Word and Excel
  • Access database knowledge at a user level would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and be able to adhere to processes
