Job description
We are looking for two Interns, who will assist in every aspect of event production. Duties will include:
Dealing with suppliers - dance companies, caterers, musicians and DJ's
Location scouting - finding exciting locations for our events.
PR and Marketing - dealing with journalists and the production of promotional materials
Sourcing materials - props, decorations, furniture for our events
Updating and maintaining our website and facebook page
Day-to-day administration.
Our ideal candidates will be bright, eager to learn, resourceful and full of ideas.
You should have some event organising experience.
Desktop publishing, website maintance, experience with Adobe Photoshop or video editing a major advantage but not essential.
We are looking for Interns to work with us for a three-month period, starting in early March. At the end of this period we will consider offering one or both a full-time position with the company. Hours of work are flexible, but we would need you to commit to 24 hours a week and to work extra hours in the last couple of weeks leading up to our events.
Salary will be travel expenses plus a small stipend.
