How would you like to make someone’s holiday dream come true? 

 

In this role, that’s exactly what you’ll be doing for our customers!  We’ll ask you to put yourself in our customer’s flip flops, to truly understand what they’re looking for from their perfect holiday. 

 

Working as part of the In Destination services team (IDS) you will truly need to put the customer at our heart at every stage of their holiday. You will need to ensure you are a role model to inspire, coach and give continuous feedback to your teams so that they can deliver on our customer promises.

 

 

Job purpose:  

 

To ensure exceptional service is delivered to customers in destination. Will lead and motivate a team of Service Representatives to deliver exceptional customer service in destination, whilst driving results to achieve sales targets set by the Destination Manager.

 

 

What you’ll need to succeed in this role:

 

  •  Inspire and develop a team through consistent feedback and coaching to deliver exceptional customer service, leading by example at all times
  • Maximise profit for the destination through effective leadership enabling service representatives to promote appropriate, relevant products to our customers
  • Establish and maintain respectful relationships with third parties in resort, including hoteliers and agency staff
  • Actively manages paperwork and assures audit procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Instil a high level of job responsibility and ownership amongst service representatives, empowering them to make justifiable decisions to resolve customer complaints
  • Provides a holistic customer experience as an active member of the in-destination Thomas Cook team
  • Experience of working successfully with customers and providing a best-in-class service to them
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate team members
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Fluent in English and ideally another service language, such as German, Dutch, French.
