Due to growth in our online business we’re looking to internally fill a new Senior Online Buying Manager role to work within the Commercial function, reporting to the Head of Trading.
This is a complex role where you’ll be contributing to the wider Online & Trading leadership teams, so it’s an ideal progression opportunity for a really experienced Trading manager working in a senior role already.
As a Senior Buying Manager - Online, you’ll be responsible for things like this;
Engaging, leading and developing Online Trading Managers
Identifying and driving improvements to optimise customer experience
Developing the online trading offer to deliver all elements of the online business plan, and management of margin mix
Delivering the online P&L and forecasting business outcomes
Managing suppliers to achieve long term goals and secure their investment
A deep understanding of retail business and processes
Experience as a Senior Manager, either Trading or Operational
Strong internal network and influence at a senior level
Broad commercial acumen including digital business experience and / or passion for online
Proven ability to create and execute and deliver a strategic plan for the long term
