Assistant Product Manager – Decleor

What are key highlights of this role?


As an Assistant Product Manager, you will report into the Senior Product Manager and you will champion consumer engagement across all online channels. You will also assist with the design and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and support with the development of marketing materials and assets for the brand campaigns.

 

What are the key duties of this role?


  • Trade or beauty marketing experience preferable
  • Excellent eye for design and a real sensitivity to the end consumers
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to process data and draw out key trends/opportunities
  • Implement new launches, maintain growth in pillar products and animate the core catalogue.
  • Propose and monitor marketing mix strategies (Salon/Spa/Digital/Retail) to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences.
  • Adapt the communication material (imagery, digital, point of sale), as required for each product launch.
  • Collect and analyse consumer and market insights to anticipate trends and make recommendations to the sales teams on how to grow market share.
  • Mobilise and collaborate with other departments (sales, logistic, education, etc.) and partner agencies to build broader business strategy.
  • Support with the management of the PPP budget and ensure sales forecast accuracy at all time
  • Manage ad-hoc projects, as required.

 

What key skills are L’Oréal looking for?


  • Solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work at pace and cope with ambiguity.

  • Proven experience of process-improvement and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

  • A passion for the beauty industry. Experience with salons, hairdressers and/or hair products would be an advantage.

  • Strong planning and organisation skills – with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required.

  • The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines.

  • Is risk aware and builds contingency into plans.
