About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing & Customer Specialist - Insight to join our Marketing Team based out of Hilmore House in Bradford, on a permanent basis.
 
Putting Customers First is fundamental to the success of our business. This role will be responsible for listening to our customers and making sure their voice is heard therefore enabling us to put the customer at the heart of decision making within Marketing. This role is critical in achieving a truly Customer First organisation and the role holder will be responsible for:
  • Reporting to the Senior Insight Manager you'll work to generate customer centric insights which guide and motivate the Marketing Team to drive customer growth and grow return on investment.
  • Primarily the role will involve supporting the Marketing function, gaining valuable customer feedback on our Marketing Plan and activities and on our Seasonal Events.
  • Shouting about customer: Utilise various communications channels to bring customers to life within Marketing. 
In this role you will be accountable for;

Customer

  • Bring a passion for putting customer first to Marketing

Colleague

  • Enable colleagues to get closer to customers by sharing customer feedback on a regular basis across a range of channels.

Operational

  • Working with a range of internal stakeholders to identify Customer Insight needs within Marketing
  • Developing & maintaining relationships with key agency suppliers

Sales, Profit and Cash

  • No direct budgetary responsibility, but an ability to work within a limited budget and drive down costs where necessary is required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following;

Knowledge

  • A good understanding of the UK grocery market – ie Morrisons and our competitors
  • A good understanding of grocery shoppers, needs & behaviours

Skills

  • At least 2 years experience conducting primary research, preferably in a retail environment
  • Ability to synthesise findings in a clear and concise way
  • Passionate about customers
  • The ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Confident in speaking with customer and colleagues at all levels
  • An engaging & clear communicator
  • A problem solving approach and able to challenge existing process.
  • Intermediate understanding of Word and PowerPoint.
