Continuous Airworthiness Engineer (M/F)

We are currently looking for a new Continuous Airworthiness Engineer within the exciting world of aviation where the newly founded Thomas Cook Airlines Balearics company is operating short and mid-haul operations in close collaboration with the wider Thomas Cook Airlines/Condor Group. Reporting into the Nominated Post Holder Maintenance you as Continuous Airworthiness Engineer will be responsible for the oversight of the normal activities of an airline´s CAMO department.


       JOB DESCRIPION 

 

       As Continuous Airworthiness Engineer, you will have following main responsibilities:

 

  • You will be the key point of contact for all customers both internal and external on all issues related to airworthiness;
  • You will be arranging and chairing technical liaison/reliability and SB review meetings with contracted suppliers;
  • You will support the development of the Maintenance Programme;
  • You will maintain oversight of contracts and interface agreements;
  • You will take up the role of Duty Airworthiness Manager;
  • You will maintain the oversight of subcontracted activities (SCAMT);
  • You will support in multiple Phase-in/out of aircraft activities of our new fleet.

 

All the above will be performed in close collaboration with the direct colleagues in Palma and the Thomas Cook Airlines Group.

 

         PROFILE

 

  • You have at least 2-3 years of work experience (in a similar position or in airline industry will be valuated);
  • You have a large general knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems;
  • You have high analytical skills, you are organized, rigorous, dynamic & proactive;
  • You have a high level of Spanish and English language knowledge (read, written and spoken);
  • You will be required to have a high-level IT user skills (MS Office, etc.);
  • You preferable have knowledge on AMOS;
  • You have preferably already some experience in relation with Spanish NAA (AESA);
  • You have preferably a training in EASA Part M / Part 145.
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Aeronautical Engineering
