Are you full of energy and bursting with ideas for unique event concepts? We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Event Management Assistant, to start in January 2018 for a duration of 10 weeks. This is a paid internship position, with the potential to be extended at the end of the contract for the right candidate.
We will provide an allowance that will be paid on a weekly basis.
The position is flexible and will allow you to work remotely 2 or 3 days a week. The rest of the time, you will be working with us at our base in Croydon. Hours are negotiable but we anticipate that you'll be working with us about 28 hours per week.
This will be a real hands-on role. You will gain exposure to all areas of our business, including event planning, marketing and business development.
As well as helping us to design and run events, your duties will include copywriting, researching prospective clients and speakers, evaluation of our performance metrics and improving our following on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

You love words and the English language. You pride yourself on your incisive, witty and well researched content that is never dull and never generic. You are fastidious in your approach to correct spelling and grammar;
You are familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite and have an eye for design, with the ability to combine words and images to create engaging and persuasive social media posts, infographics, and multimedia presentations;
You have an understanding of consumer behaviour and are well versed in the latest digital marketing techniques;
You are dynamic and versatile and are used to wearing many hats – you thrive in an environment where no two work days are exactly the same;
A large part of event management is problem solving. We don't expect you to have lots of experience in the sector, but we will expect you to be able to remain calm in stressful situations, to be proactive and full of ideas, to take ownership of the tasks that we give you, to think on your feet and to have a relentless attitude to getting things done;

You're not scared by numbers and you have experience in using Microsoft Excel. A natural negotiator at heart, you'll make sure we're always getting the best deals for us.
