I am recruiting for a salesman to undertake a research-led, consultative sales campaign for a small IT outsourcing firm based in Chester.
Day-to-day, you will be using supplied data to make contact with local firms. Your role will be to establish whether there is a need for any type of IT MSP or outsourcing. If there's a need, then a meeting should be discussed. This is not really a high-volume telesales role, it's more suited to someone who enjoys consultative, grown-up sales. A good job will be further rewarded with ad-hoc bonuses, a strong reference and the possibility of a permanent role , if that appeals.
This is an initial 4-month project to run Dec '17-Mar '18. This role is, therefore, advertised on a contract basis.
In essence, I need someone to take the data we have, do a brief period of research into the firm to maximise success rates, then call the relevant person at that firm and speak with them about their IT outsourcing or MSP needs.
The primary goal is to book meetings, but there are a host of other secondary objectives from the calls.
This isn't a 200 calls-per-day, PPI/double glazing type role, it's more about quality than quantity. If you can speak to ten to twenty decision makers in a day and have meaningful conversations with them, that's good. I'll be offering a thorough briefing at initial interview, so it will all become crystal clear.

Swift but thorough interview process, probably two stage, but not taking too long. Looking to move this quite quickly, so we can discuss getting a Christmas bonus thrown into the mix for the right person.
