Technology Manager - Supplier Management

We’re looking for someone to develop and manage the supplier management function within our Technology function. You’ll be working from our support centre in Bradford; creating, implementing, managing and maintaining a governance framework

You’ll provide commercial support to make sure we achieve quality of service, pace of delivery and high levels of performance against contract, drive efficiency, and minimise risk.

As a Technology Manager - Supplier Management, you’ll be accountable for this like this;

• Design and implement approaches, processes and systems to establish good practice supplier management e.g. a service review framework

• Provide proactive and reactive advice with a view to resolving issues

• Building and managing an enterprise-level relationship with key

• suppliers

• Tracking, analysing and reporting on supplier performance, providing information to colleagues across the business to support engagement with Suppliers

• Conducting regular audit activity on suppliers, including spend, invoicing and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and potential risks

You’ll need skills and experience like this;

• Track record of large supplier management within a large complex organisation

• Strong working knowledge of Technology related commercial structures and contracts

• Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the Technology supplier market place

• Ability to influence at a senior level

• Ability to function in an immature environment

• Commercially aware
