Part Time leading to Full Time Operations Manager in London

Fantastic opportunity to join an exciting young international company and train in an executive and operational manager role on a part time basis, leading to a potential full time role.

What are you going to do

Within approximately 6 months this would become a full time role.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting a fantastic part time job with a view to taking up full time employment after approximately 6 months.

We are a young and vibrant new company that has experienced major success since our birth 4 years ago. We operate in 3 countries and our clientele come from all corners of the globe.

We are looking for someone who wants a longterm future with our company, growing with the company and becoming an integral part of an exciting operation.

There are a few parts to this role:

  • 1.) Email/Customer Service and Operations - replying to emails from our guests who are inquiring about tours around London England, New York and Paris. Suggesting ideas, preparing itineraries, facilitating payment and then processing bookings. Training will be provided.
  • 2.) Telephone customer service/hotel customer service - answering the phones to our guests and predominantly to our hotel concierge teams in order to answer their inquiries and process tour bookings.
  • 3.) There may be additional administrative roles including but not limited to some research and other admin assistance.

You will also be encouraged to propose ideas and creatively engage with the company and staff to continue building and growing our brand and service.

We are looking for someone who would appreciate a fantastic part time role with scope to grow with the company. Someone who is able to use initiative to learn, absorb and process lots of information. You need to be proficient and quick on computers, ideally capable with social media and able to make decisions and use initiative when responding to inquiries and advising possible tours for our guests. Fierce attention to detail, organisation and an ability to work under pressure is important.

This is an exciting and varied job - but there is a lot to learn and absorb - from handling the operational side of the business - inputting into our online calendar, processing payment links, creating tours, using appropriate formatting and creativity through to learning about the exciting destinations and sites we visit in the UK, New York and Paris.

Full training is provided.

For the first month you would be required to work two 7 hour days during the week in our Central London office and the remaining hours from home. After that, for five months this will be mostly a home based job where you will work for 4 hours 5 days per week, including a half day weekend morning. After 6 months, this will develop into a full time role in our Central London office. The six months are an opportunity for the candidate to demonstrate a high degree of self discipline, motivation, creativity and ability, working from home.
