We are on the lookout for amazing tutors to join us on this exciting journey! Tutors United is an award-winning university student based tutoring service. We provide paid employment to university students and affordable private tutoring to some of Planet Earth’s coolest primary school pupils from low-income and migrant backgrounds. Are you looking for a tutoring job that fits around your studies, but allows you to gain essential and valuable work experience to add to your C.V? Do you find it hard to get a job due to a requirement of years of experience? Do you want a rewarding job where you will make a difference to young peoples’ lives? Then why not join our tutoring team and help tackle educational disadvantage? You don’t need any experience as we provide frequent training throughout the year.
Job description
So what's in it for you? We're well aware of the competition within the job market and so will support you with developing key employability skills such as communication, presentation and time management. We also give you the opportunity to meet and get advice from people in different sectors and provide a professional reference to make you stand out from the competition.
We give £10 per hour to our amazing tutors for their hard work and dedication to our cause and also provide an enhanced DBS check!
Then you're eligible to apply! As well as becoming a remarkable tutor and helping underprivileged children, you will gain a variety of different skills from the diverse jobs you will do.
