YOU SHOULD BECOME A SHOW MANAGER AT THE SPH BAND CONTEST!
The SPH Music Group organizes the SPH Band Contest since 2008. Each year, we organize more than 500 live shows in 100 cities all over Europe. There are 2,500 bands participating each year.
Through our work, we enable countless musicians to experience live shows, jury feedback and all round support: All participants receive a support package worth up to £ 500, a CASH booster of up to £ 250 per show and the chance to win amazing prizes, awards and workshops worth £ 250,000!
What makes the SPH Band Contest unique is that the musicians and bands are always in the center of attention. We highly value a friendly, constructive and communicative atmosphere during all times. The SPH Band Contest is organized ‘from musicians for musicians’.
YOUR TASKS:
- You'll be responsible for managing SPH Band Contest concerts in the cities near you.
- You'll organize all necessary materials for the concert (in cooperation with the 'back office').
- You'll represent the SPH Band Contest on site when facing bands, fans and venue owners.
- You'll need to take care of one assistant (extra budget), who assists you with during the night.
- You'll write a gig review about your show (one page), which will be posted on our website.

- You're a musician (not mandatory) or you're interested in managing live events.

- You're self-confident and ready to present the SPH Band Contest at its best.
