We are looking for a student who would like to help in our Montessori School. This role is particularly suited to Psychology students or those wanting to follow a career in Early Years teaching. You will be assisting the teachers with the children (aiding their introduction to letters and numbers) and if you are a Psychology student, you will have the opportunity to run Social Skills groups.
The job can be part time or full time in order to fit in with your University commitments and is term time only. Hours by negotiation, but between 8.15am and 6.30pm. The role will be partly adapted to the skill set of the individual (eg: if you are good at drama, you might like to run circle times. if you are a psychology student, you might like to run our social skills groups. If you are doing a PGCE, you might like to work particularly on the academic element of the curriculum). All assistants are required to help with the general running of the day to day life of the school.

They are keen to get new staff onboard and help to learn about the Montessori method and how it enhances the development of children. Working hours can be tailored to fit in with your university schedule and our holidays will probably match yours.
