Marketing Internship Opportunity for Podcast Secret​ ​Lives​ ​of​ ​Leaders​ in London

What are you going to do:

From billionaires to Royals, we’ve had them all, and we are lining up even better guests for Series 2, and recording in a studio, therefore dramatically improving the quality of the recordings.

Due to our amazing network, we are able to get access to some of the most impressive company founders in the country, and we launched the series from March, one episode a week for 15 consecutive weeks (over 4 months).

As this was a true MVP, we had no budget for marketing. However, due to it’s authentic content and awesome guests, we were featured as a “Top UK Podcast” by Apple, and have now been offered a partnership with Barclaycard for Series 2 (for promotion).

This is an unpaid internship but a unique opportunity for an outright brilliant mind to show off their marketing efforts, remotely, whilst studying at University. The below are just suggestions - we are looking for YOUR ideas too.

• Build up our social media channels from scratch.
• Create a content strategy for distributing content from season 1, whether audio, video, or written, and build awareness.
• Propose growth hacking ideas - how will you spend £0 money to build awareness, increase downloads.
• Paid promotion for Season 2 - if you successfully demonstrate your ability to build awareness for Season 1, we have allocated a paid marketing budget for Season 2.
• Come up with actionable opportunities for PR

What we offer:

• This is a 6 month remote internship. At the end we will discuss next steps and opportunities.
• You will receive £1,200 over the 6 months. £200 a month.
• You will be able to claim a £1000 bonus for hitting your targets.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL:

• Show a clear and demonstrable ability to grow the podcast's audience.
• Have a passion for social media (we have set up the channels, and started posting on them as a demonstration of the type of content we believe would work), but growing these will be a natural expectation.
• Have a test and learn mindset.
• Be able to demonstrate the marketing placements and provide a summary each month of the successful and unsuccessful tests.
• Have 100% perfect grammar, spelling and written English. One mistake here, and the internship is over - we have a flawless guestlist and our aspirational audience will not suffer petty and avoidable mistakes.
• Be able to demonstrate what they have achieved in the past from a growth perspective.
• Be detail oriented, a self-starter, can juggle an impossibly large load of projects through prioritization.
• You tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
• Familiarity using Hootsuite/Buffer...etc - whichever you prefer.
