Java Developers - Wholesale in Bradford

Our Wholesale business is growing and with it we need talented colleagues to help us evolve further, we’re currently looking for 2 Java Developers to join our tech team at our Head Office in Bradford.

You’ll be contributing to the analysis, design and build of solutions using the Java Development language and the scripts used to deploy zero defect code so it would be beneficial for you to have really strong software dev experience. We’d also consider applications from more junior developers looking to progress their career.

In the role you’ll be accountable for things like this;

• Specifying, developing and delivering zero defect software components for new & existing solutions

• Accurately creating software specifications and configuration changes for the team

• Working with a team of both on and off shore developers

You’ll need skills and experience like this;

• Technical Skills in Java , AWS, Dropwizard, Spring Boot, Docker, Micro Services

• Software development experience gained in a large corporate environment or complex business

• Good understanding of the Java language and related frameworks

• Ability to work effectively at pace, responding positively to changing priorities

• Logical thinking and the ability to gain buy in from others

It would also be beneficial if you had skills in any of these;

• Jenkins

• Lambda

• Google Cloud Platform

• Jira

• Confluence

• IntelliJ
