About The Role

We’re looking for a Forecast Development Manager to join our Supply Chain development team at our support centre in Bradford.


This is a new position to lead and deliver the overall forecast development programme for Morrisons Replenishment Systems. Stakeholder management is key to the role, you’ll be working with some senior stakeholders internally as well as with key third parties, combining some data science with practical experience to influence developments.


What will you do in the role of Forecast Manager?

  • Lead, prioritise and manage current forecast improvement developments and enhancements

  • Identify new forecast improvement opportunities that deliver better customer availability and created associated business cases

  • Assist in development and delivery of Morrisons Ordering improvements, to deliver availability in Distribution Centres and Stores

  • Present ideas and investment requirements to senior stakeholders and

  • create project plans to ensure right first time process implementation

  • Engage with operational teams and act as the conscience for supply chain

About You

What skills and experience do you need to be a success in this role?

  • Strong mathematical ability is necessary

  • Some retail or supply chain experience in an FMCG environment

  • Forecasting algorithm application experience

  • Strong understanding of all aspects of food supply chain and operational mechanics

  • An understanding of end-to- end process/ system improvement approaches and method

  • Experience of leading projects involving change management
