Staff Heroes is the UK’s #1 online booking platform that is transforming the traditional temporary staffing sector, by giving businesses access to fully vetted and trained staff on a self-service booking platform that provides transparency, simplicity and lower costs.
Our ultimate mission is to transform the staffing sector in the same way Expedia did for travel or Uber did for transportation, nothing less!
The Role
We’re looking for an operations superstar, someone who can make sure our system is purring along and to support our existing Ops and Customer Services Team.
We’re looking for detail-oriented, empathetic problem solvers to join our Customer Operations (Weekend) team.
Our customer operations team is at the heart of Staff Heroes: every person in this team not only cares about our customers’ problems, but is empowered to solve them quickly, creatively and efficiently. You’ll be the first point of contact for every single one of our users who have a question, problem, feedback or even compliments!
You’ll listen to their concerns with positivity, empathy and patience, and you’ll get deep into the details of how our platform actually works to resolve the problem for them and to prevent it from happening again. We will provide the tools and training you need so that you can understand and resolve issues, rather than following a script and passing customers off.
You’ll need to be proactive, spotting patterns in the frustrations or hopes of our users, seeing where we can change our processes, our tools or our product to make our customers truly delighted by our platform.
Logistics
Work will generally be remote, with the possibility to come visit the office whenever convenient. This position comprises two 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday with a start time from 9am to 6pm. Ideally (not a pre-requisite) you would also be able to do 4 hours Friday afternoon and Monday morning for handovers so 3 days a week in total if possible, but at a bare minimum Saturday and Sunday.
You will be in training for your first two weeks (Monday-Friday) generally between 09:00-18:00 but we can be flexible to fit around personal circumstances e.g. childcare or university courses. You will also be required to come in once a month for a check-in with your manager and the rest of the team. Any time spent at our office will be paid.
