Fancy working for one of the hottest tech start-ups in London alongside some of the best talent in the industry? Then look no further, and come and join our high growth and fast expanding business that is at the very forefront of an incredibly exciting space.

£10.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Staff Heroes is the UK’s #1 online booking platform that is transforming the traditional temporary staffing sector, by giving businesses access to fully vetted and trained staff on a self-service booking platform that provides transparency, simplicity and lower costs.

Our ultimate mission is to transform the staffing sector in the same way Expedia did for travel or Uber did for transportation, nothing less!

The Role

We’re looking for an operations superstar, someone who can make sure our system is purring along and to support our existing Ops and Customer Services Team.

We’re looking for detail-oriented, empathetic problem solvers to join our Customer Operations (Weekend) team.

Our customer operations team is at the heart of Staff Heroes: every person in this team not only cares about our customers’ problems, but is empowered to solve them quickly, creatively and efficiently. You’ll be the first point of contact for every single one of our users who have a question, problem, feedback or even compliments!

You’ll listen to their concerns with positivity, empathy and patience, and you’ll get deep into the details of how our platform actually works to resolve the problem for them and to prevent it from happening again. We will provide the tools and training you need so that you can understand and resolve issues, rather than following a script and passing customers off.

You’ll need to be proactive, spotting patterns in the frustrations or hopes of our users, seeing where we can change our processes, our tools or our product to make our customers truly delighted by our platform.

Logistics

Work will generally be remote, with the possibility to come visit the office whenever convenient. This position comprises two 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday with a start time from 9am to 6pm. Ideally (not a pre-requisite) you would also be able to do 4 hours Friday afternoon and Monday morning for handovers so 3 days a week in total if possible, but at a bare minimum Saturday and Sunday.

You will be in training for your first two weeks (Monday-Friday) generally between 09:00-18:00 but we can be flexible to fit around personal circumstances e.g. childcare or university courses. You will also be required to come in once a month for a check-in with your manager and the rest of the team. Any time spent at our office will be paid.

In this role you will:

  • Become a customer service champion both for businesses and workers
  • Support weekend operations
  • Monitor our system and be responsible for logistics ensuring Heroes are where they need to be
  • Ensure that jobs are filled by workers matching business specifications
  • Manage business queries and assist with the booking process
  • Liaise with our payroll team and report generation to ensure payroll is correctly conducted
  • Generate invoices for business and ensure they are sent and paid in time
  • Work with our Sales and Account Management team to ensure clients expectations are met
  • Develop internal processes to ensure all operational activities are carried out with maximum efficiency
  • Execute like a pro

What we offer:

£10 per hour

What we ask:

  • It is essential that you are able to work fast under pressure while keeping a cool head.
  • Our deadlines are often incredibly tight and it is necessary for everyone to work collaboratively and quickly.
  • You will need to be computer literate, analytical and competent especially with Excel and other MS Office products.
  • You will be frequently interacting with Heroes and Businesses who register with our platform so excellent communication skills are a must as you will need to understand our platform inside out and explain our services to Heroes and Businesses who register.
  • You will be a quick learner who is able to work on tasks with minimal supervision.
  • University degree educated
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills, speaking to both workers and businesses
  • eam player prepared to go beyond the line to get things done
