About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Payroll Assistant - Service Delivery to join our People Services Team at Hilmore House on a full-time, fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months. The successful applicant will work within a small team in People Services supporting users, analysing data and working on projects, all helping to maximise the value Morrisons achieves through its corporate HR systems.

What will I do?

  • Advise and support the wider HR community on processes relating to HR Systems
  • Support the development and maintenance of the HR Systems
  • Manage operational changes to the company organisational structure
  • Ensure accuracy of HR Systems data through regular and scheduled data cleansing activities
  • Provide the business with information obtained from HR Systems to support better decision making
  • Engage with business partners to gather, interpret and define requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation on business requirements and processes
  • Involvement in User Acceptance Testing
  • Communicate process and system changes to HR Systems users
About You
 
 What skills and qualifications do I need?
 

You will have experience of working with HR Systems in a fast paced environment embracing change.  Full training on Morrisons systems will be provided, however it’s important you have the following:

  • Analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong concern for accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Strong verbal and written skills

What additional skills and experience would be helpful?

  • Basic competence in using and administering PeopleSoft 9.0
