Senior Security Architect

Permanent Position

Based in Aldersgate, London

This role will be responsible for driving technical strategy and architecture for our cloud platforms. Advising on global technical cloud security architecture and provide technical input across cloud portfolios in several markets, such as: Financial Services, Tour Operator Retail and Airline Operations.

Within this role you will lead the cloud network security technical strategy and architecture.

Defining network oriented security capabilities, integrations with cloud platform across infrastructure services and platform services, for traditional and cloud native applications.

In order to do this you will have a deep understanding of cloud workloads, provisioning, orchestration and provide network security design across container deployments, virtualized environments, and bare metal deployments.  You will also be able to understand developer mind set as they build and deploy cloud native applications, and to secure those workloads.

A detailed knowledge of industry security frameworks and compliance certifications will be a must as you will work with customers and their architecture and operations teams to define repeatable reference architectures to enable solutions to deal with threat intelligence for cloud based workloads and applications.

You will be collaborating with other cloud platform teams to develop roadmaps for the next generation Cloud security technology solutions for assigned portfolio’s and develops plans, methodologies and timelines to get there

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Extensive experience within the security profession
• Expertise across a broad spectrum of security related challenges and disciplines.
• Proven  track record of delivery of  security architecture in Financial Services enterprises

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) having achieved the Architecture concentration – “Information Systems Security Architecture Professional” (CISSP-ISSAP)

Preferred:

• Full member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals (M.InstISP)
• Chartered Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS-CITP)

• Hold the CESG Certified Professional (CCP) Senior IA Architect
