The position of Strategic Yield Project Manager is a temporary position for 12 months based in our Peterborough office. You will be  responsible for managing development projects and process change delivery with full responsibility for delivery against project targets, scope, budget, quality and timeline with leadership of the cross functional Business project team.    



Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Accountable for delivery  - achieving project targets to scope,  timeline, quality, budget and technical solution
  • Represents overall project status and technical solution in milestone review, escalates conflicts to Head of Development and Delivery or functional heads (as appropriate)
  • Leads, coaches, challenges and motivates the cross-functional project team
  • Consulting and clearance of project goals with business stakeholders/sponsors
  • Manage, prioritize and ensure the delivery of the projects, either with local resource or with the support of the IT teams
  • Enforce adherence to the governance and processes
  • Engaging and inspiring at all levels of stakeholders to deliver change to culture and processes


Skills, know-how and experience:

Must have:

  • Proactive and tenacious ‘can do’ attitude to unblock issues and ensure progress
  • Experienced leadership capabilities that drives team engagement and produces high quality development deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong commercial mindset and business acumen
  • Problem solver with a pragmatic approach to deliver into a complicated environment
  • Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organisation



  • Ability to communicate vision and ability to anticipate future business needs
  • Experience of Tour operator and packaged holiday business
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience of project management


Key performance indicators:

  • Delivery of Projects in line with agreed roadmap to scope, quality, on time and to budget
  • Build and manage a highly motivated Project Delivery team
