About the role
The Travel Money Commercial Executive role covers the daily management of the new foreign exchange cash ordering system whilst maximising efficiencies and benefits for the business. It also covers driving down delivery costs and improving availability of cash in the network through working closely with retail stores to monitor and approve stock orders and providing MI and insight to the leadership team.
Key accountabilities / responsibilities
The role has a responsibility to monitor daily FX cash orders and approve exceptional items whilst liaising with retail stores to understand exceptional items before approval and as required discuss with Head of Financial Services/ Commercial Manager.
The role also covers providing timely management information and working with Regional Managers and sales support team providing relevant data and insight to improve behaviours
A further aspect is to also be a key contact for external supplier on any order related operational issues whilst continually striving to improve communication and processes to make the cash ordering process as efficient as possible.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate should have good communication and numeracy skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with excellent attention to detail and being professional. Knowledge of Foreign exchange would be an advantage.
