Work in our teams all over the west country setting up a wide range of high end bespoke marquees for weddings and events. Travel is paid to and from the work site from our premises. Driving license is helpful but not mandatory. The season is busy so there will be lots of hours for the right candidates.
You will be required to be at our premises for 7am on weekdays and we also work 1 day most weekends. The day finishes when the job is complete so can be flexible. You will need to be physically strong as this is manual labour, motivated, hardworking and reliable. We do have varying workloads so can often be flexible if you require time off so long as we can plan in advance. Ideal candidates will be able to commit to starting as soon as the summer break commences and work on until early September, with no more than one weeks holiday during this period. The job is varied and can encompass all parts of the event business. You can really earn good money to help with your finances.
Lots of work available, you can come back every summer with good career progression within the company. Many of our summer staff have returned year after year and even taken up a management role after university. We pay for additional driving licenses for larger vehicles for keen staff.
Our starting pay goes from:
Under 18 £5.50
18-20 £7
21-24 £8
This will be applied as soon as induction training is completed which usually takes 2 weeks depending on how keen you are. Drivers and candidates that are keen to progress will be paid more. We pay weekly.
We also have some on site accomodation.
