Partnership Executive in London

One Young World is the premier global forum for young leaders which brings together the brightest young leaders from every country and sector, empowering them to make lasting connections and initiate action to create positive change and moving towards more peaceful, inclusive societies. Since 2009, we have hosted eight annual Summits and brought together over 8,000 young leaders from 196 countries. Our events motivate young people to be the change they want to see in the world. It is estimated that over 8.9 million people have been impacted by projects founded by One Young World Ambassadors. One Young World is looking for highly motivated, energetic graduates who are seeking a full time role in sales and partnerships.

What are you going to do:

Key duties include:

  • Reaching out to potential new sponsors
  • Developing and managing a pipeline to consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and objectives
  • Providing bespoke client service to existing One Young World partners
  • Supporting the One Young World partnerships team in performing key administrative tasks
  • Working on outreach and externalcommunications

Please note, there will be a one week assessed internship (paid) as part of this recruitment process running from 26 February - 2 March.

Joining the Partnerships team at One Young World will give you unparalleled experience in dealing with senior contacts at large corporations, as well as working with young leaders from 196 countries. Approximately 1,300 delegates attend the Summit, and the Partnerships team focuses on generating revenue and managing relationships.

Many organisations have made One Young World an integral part of their development of global talent and CSR initiatives, with companies increasing the size of their delegation each year. One Young World has partnered with more than 500 of the world's leading organisations, many of which are listed by Fortune 500 or FTSE 100, including: Accenture, Coca-Cola, Citigroup, Deloitte, EY, Facebook, Google, Johnson and Johnson, KPMG, L'Oreal, Unilever.

What we ask:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ideally has experience in Sales and Targets
  • The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher, and a strong academic record
  • Have previous experience in sales and be keen to develop their skill-set in this area
  • Be target driven
  • Have excellent communication skills, be confident on the phone and driven in their approach to reaching out to new contacts
  • Have an active interest in current affairs and knowledge of international issues
  • Have experience in complex admin tasks
  • Be highly efficient and organised
  • Be a proactive team player who takes the
  • initiative and can cope well with deadlines and high pressure environments
  • Be charming and well presented
  • Must be fluent in English

Additional desirable skills include:

  • Fluency in languages other than Italian
  • Experience with web-based content management

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an internship running from 26 February - 2nd March 2018 at our office in London. During the internship, candidates will receive sales and admin training as well as performing key client service tasks. This is a paid internship: £250/week.

    Following the internship, successful candidates will be offered a full time position, which includes a salary of £19,000 pa. plus bonus if targets are achieved. There is also an opportunity for a pay rise after the first 6 months.
