Free 20 week course providing two Sports qualifications once complete along with a £50 per week bursary throughout the length of the course.
Sporting Chance is a local community organisation. We have been built by individuals who are passionate, dedicated and driven to better lives of people living in the North East. As a non-for profit organisation we reinvest everything we achieve back into the community. We aim to overcome some of the barriers people may face and we strive to provide a holistic service to all our members.
We currently have 5 spaces available on our Fitness Studies programme.
The course consists of 20 weeks, Mon-Fri 10am-2pm at our Cowgate site starting on 1st March 2018.
Upon completing the course you will have gained both a Health and Fitness Qualification as well as Sports Coaching Qualification.
The course is completely free and will also provide you with a £50 per week bursary to cover the cost of food and transport.
We offer the opportunity to gain a free Sporting Qualification whilst covering the cost of transport and food for the week.
Not only this but if you do not have a C grade or above in Maths and English we will continue to work on this with you alongside the Sports qualifications to ensure you are more employable in the future.
Candidates must be aged between 16 - 18 years old having completed High School.
