Feel Good Promotions is the exclusive distributor of cult beauty brands YUMI and That'so in the UK. We are a fast moving Company, looking for interns to work within our communications division, including online and social media. We are offering a 3 month internship within our busy team based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Please find information regarding the job role below. Further information is available on request. We are looking for PR interns, (preferably with some relevant experience), who understand the media and will feel confident selling in press campaigns across our accounts.
The role will involve the following:
Press sampling
Weekly call rounds to the press
Scanning and archiving press coverage
Maintaining our social media sites including Twitter, Facebook and blog sites.
Posting regularly, tweeting at journalists and bloggers and posting press coverage
Writing press pitches and email distribution
Low-level design of pitches and social media posts
Low level admin support
Our interns are fully immersed in to PR life. If you have the motivation and drive to succeed, you will be given free reign to come up with creative and original campaign ideas, and will be speaking to journalists about our products and services. All travel expenses will be paid and lunch provided.
