What are you going to do:
Roles may involve: Computer and Systems Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering Engineering, Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering etc.
- Analyse current working methods and propose and potentially implement improvements to optimise the efficiency, quality and design of the manufacturing processes using system tools.
- Create, implement, and monitor key performance indicators and metrics within the Manufacturing processes.
- Develop and present reports/presentations to demonstrate the effect of improvement projects.
- Providing root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Where applicable, generate project plans for the operational aspect of a project, drive cross-functional groups to ensure tasks are managed to completion.
- Complete project deliverable as required to agreed targets (time, cost, quality).
- Liaise with Team Leader/s to clarify objectives, area of responsibility and standards associated with of each specific piece of work to beundertaken.

- To learn Object Oriented Analysis & Design using UML.
- To learn implementation in C# and C++ programming languages, in relation to the project in
question, to: -
- Develop new code; or
- Enhance existing code; or
- De-bug existing code
- Carry out unit testing of developed code, rectifying errors/ faults as and when identified.

What we ask:
- Must be on a 4 year degreesandwich placement - the placement must be part of your degree -
- please show voluntary work or projects outside of your academics you have worked on
- Currently studying for a degree in Engineering or related degree (currently studying)
- Recent graduates welcome if they want to do a 13 month placement
- Is self-driven, actively looks for ways to contribute.
- An interest and willingness to learn
- Must be willing to learn from others
- Has excellent communication and reasoning skills, including the ability to make a strong case for technology choices to all levels of management if and when required.
- On track for a 2.1 or above
