Buying Manager - Pizza in Bradford

We're looking for an experienced Buying Manager with Food experience to join us as a Buying

Manager for Pizza at our support centre in Bradford. Reporting to the Senior Buying Manager

you will be accountable for our pre-pack Pizzas as well as the ingredients for our Market Street Fresh Pizzas, Salad Bar and food to go.

What will I do in the role of a Buying Manager at Morrisons?

● Drive profitability through sales

● Show clear understanding of product range in terms of quality, cost and

direction

● Develop ranges and products to suit customer needs

● Ensure continuity of supply and product availability through daily

communication with stores, supply chain and logistics

● Manage the supplier base to achieve costs and other benefits in the best

interests of the business

● Lead the innovation of the market street pizza offer

What skills and qualifications do I need?

● Good numerical skills

● Previous experience of food buying within a fast paced trading environment

● Have a good eye for detail and excellent communication skills along with

computer literacy

● Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
