Role: UK VM Manager (Regional – London & Thames Valley)

​Purpose of role: Manage Visual Merchandising, in-store point of sale and windows in order to
maximise sales and deliver outstanding customer experience, across your dedicated region.

Reports to: Visual Merchandising Controller

Location: London/Thames Valley - this is a field based role that will require you to travel across various locations within the country on a regular basis


Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver window styling and campaigns and ensure stores implement accordingly
• Deliver in store POS campaigns and ensure stores implement accordingly
• Deliver new stores openings, refits and extensions to the desired standard

Brand

• Responsible for the overall management and implementation of the campaign process
• Create exciting commercial and visual store displays based on the latest corporate strategies
• Lead new store Visual Merchandising set-up including windows, mannequins and POS
• Evaluate existing Visual Merchandising layouts on an on-going basis
• Maintain awareness of product range and store environment; equipment, stock density, and linear efficiencies

Communication

• Communicate all information on product, layouts and visual principles to the VM Teams
• Gather information through store visits and liaison with retail teams to improve communication methods
• Work with VM/retail teams to ensure information required is delivered concisely and within the agreed time frame
• Manage documentation requirements for VM Controller and Product Marketing & VM Manager
• Support with guidelines for specific visual merchandising campaigns and windows
• Support with translations of documents if required

Operations

• Controlling the ordering on POS that goes into stores
• Responsible for ordering POS from the supplier
• Be aware of cost management

People and Relationships

• ​Develop the visual teams to support retail and central visual merchandising function
• Deliver workshops as appropriate on corporate initiative and VM principles to assist and develop store team
• Coach the Visual Merchandising Teams to promote continuous development
• Be involved in all forms of VM recruitment where applicable
• Motivate and drive the team to deliver excellent VM standards
• Communicate effectively both cross functionally and within the team to deliver maximum efficiency

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Has had visual merchandising experience in a field based role
• Has over 5 year’s experience in visual merchandising
• Clean driving licence
• Training and coaching skills
