Senior Resourcing Business Partner

Peterborough

The role:

Responsible for the external talent acquisition agenda for Senior Hires at Thomas Cook UK&I Head Office in Peterborough, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen the organisations capability through recruitment, succession planning and sourcing methodologies including social media.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive recruitment metrics across your business areas, influencing and impacting targets such as number of vacancies, cost per hire and time to hire.
  • Understand organisational capability gaps and proactively identify and build external talent pools to bridge gaps in pipeline.
  • Embed & lead a customer focussed culture, delivering outstanding service for the customer (internal or external).
  • Design & implement innovative and cost effective attraction strategies, to include all relevant recruitment channels, ensuring clear candidate markets are established to create strong Talent pools for the future. The focus will be on direct hires rather than through third party channels. 
  • Manage strategic partnerships with Suppliers driving strong relationships and quality of service. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of recruitment campaigns, produce appropriate management information and highlight areas for change within recruitment as a result of the data you produce. 
  • Manage the Candidate Journey and Onboarding experience in conjunction with the L&D and Offshore Teams.  

 

Skills and Experience:

  • An effective communicator, confident at influencing key stakeholders to gain their buy in to recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Experience at designing and implementing a wide range of selection tools and techniques, utilising competency based methods, and psychometric/ occupational testing tools. 
  • Experience in using social media as a form of attraction and direct hire recruitment, including the engagement of passive candidates. 
  • A specialist recruiter, with in-house experience and experience with senior appointments/hires. 
  • Experience of meeting challenging recruitment targets/ KPIs, and to agreed budgets. 
  • Focused on collaborative working, sharing knowledge and expertise to impact the performance of others. 
  • Has established self as an expert in recruitment process and practice.
