Various Summer Camp Roles 2018 in London

Exsportise has been running camps since 1988 and our goal is to ensure that all students leave Exsportise with improved language confidence, motivated to participate in their Specialist Option, with friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

What are you going to do:

We are British Council accredited for the teaching of English language and became an EL Gazette Centre of Excellence in 2015.

We are looking for people to work at our residential English Language, sports, music and dance camps for 9-17 year olds from all over the world. At Exsportise our motto is “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”

We have a wide variety of roles available, including:

  • Activities Coach (Tennis, Football, Hockey, Golf and Dance)
  • Administrators
  • Event Manager
  • Medical Officers

Our students come mostly from Europe and the skills they bring afford an excellent perspective of the products of different coaching and educational systems.

Our staff leave us with a wealth of new knowledge that stands them in very good stead for future jobs, so it's a great addition to your CV as well as a way to earn some money in a short term contract over the summer holidays!

We need responsible self-starters keen to both lead parts of sessions and also learn from experienced colleagues as well as get involved in other aspects of a residential summer camp such as evening entertainment and weekend excursions.

Staff are given their own room in one of the boarding houses, all meals and access to the camps' sports facilities during their free time. All staff work a 6 day week and contract lengths range from 2 to 7 weeks. Camps run during July and August, with a 2-day staff induction programme prior to the first student arrivals.

Wages start at £285 per week depending on role and experience / qaulifications. All roles meet or exceed minimum wage.

Exsportise is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Staff will be required to assist with pastoral care by taking responsibility for a group of students and looking after their welfare throughout their stay at camp. "
