Internal Auditor - Technology and Projects in Bradford

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Auditor - Technology and Projects to join the Risk & Internal Audit team within the Finance function at our Head Office in Bradford. 

Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager, you will undertake audits across the Group, focussing on IT and projects, with the opportunity to work across broader areas.

The Risk and Internal Audit team plays a key role in Morrisons corporate governance framework and provides independent assurance that major risks are being managed appropriately and that the control environment is operating effectively.

To be a successful Internal Auditor at Morrisons you will:

• Hold or be working towards a relevant Professional Qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA, CISA (or equivalent) although exceptional candidates with strong relevant business experience (e.g. IT governance & Controls, Finance or Compliance), who would like to start a career in audit would be welcome to apply;

• Ideally have experience in audit along with an understanding of the relationship between risk, controls and assurance;

• Ideally have previous exposure to retail or manufacturing industries;

• Have excellent business partnering and communications skills.
