Infrastructure Delivery Portfolio PMO Analyst – Peterborough (with regular travel to London)

We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Portfolio PMO Analyst who will be accountable for managing the Program and Project Management Office (PMO) within the scope of the IT Infrastructure Change Portfolio.

Infrastructure Delivery Portfolio is a set of IT programs, projects and change initiatives to achieve improved Infrastructure delivery services and wider IT transformation, including e.g. Data Centre transformation, Service process improvements, Networks transformation, End User Computing transformation small change management and planned maintenance.


Key accountabilities:

  • Administration of the IT Change Portfolio programs and projects core data including schedule, milestones, risks, actions, issues, dependencies, resources and capacities, budgets and actuals
  • Governance and assurance of data quality, integrity and consistency across the IT Change portfolio programs and projects
  • To maintain and develop the Infrastructure Architecture and Delivery Sharepoint Site, by
    • Creating subsites aligned to the infrastructure domains as required
    • Managing the permissions and access to same
    • Tracking the status of pipeline initiatives through to project inception or discounting
  • To maintain the Infrastructure Architecture and Delivery Road Map
  • Supporting Infrastructure Delivery Lead and Senior Programme Manager through project acceptance and approval process
  • Establish projects in PPM tool
  • Maintaining resource capacity within the Infrastructure Delivery and Architecture Team using/aligned to PMO tools/initiatives, such that this can be used to assist planning within the forum(s)
  • Schedule the Infrastructure Forums, attend and minute as appropriate
  • Capturing a logging demand in the pipeline as appropriate
  • Support the Infrastructure PMs with reporting and correct usage of PPM tool


Skills, know-how and experience:

  • Strong IT process and PMO skills
  • Strong finance and controlling skills
  • Strong analytical skills as well as communication and coordination skills
  • Strong experience in data management and reporting
  • Ability to build relationships and influence multiple project managers
  • Experience in working with challenging circumstances and with competing priorities
  • Experience or qualified in developing Sharepoint sites and functionality.


Preferred:

  • Practical experience of structured project management systems such as Prince2
  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance experience
  • Touristic or Airline industry Know How
