Care Nannies – All UK locations – Flexible working hours - £10 - £12ph

Are you looking for a Nanny role that is flexible and fits around you? Do you have previous experience as a nanny, in child care, nursing, teaching, or a similar role? Are you self-motivated and passionate to deliver an excellent service? If so, British Nannies is looking for Nannies to join our ever-growing team. We are currently seeking to expand our team in several key areas across the UK. You can work for us on a regular basis, during school holiday periods or ad hoc - it's entirely up to you. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has experience in the childcare industry, either as a nanny, nurse, in a nursery, as a childminder or another relevant role. If feel you have the necessary skills for this Nanny role, then please apply today.

What we offer:

  • You will be on our payroll – so no need to worry about doing taxes yourself (although self-employed people always welcome)
  • Paid weekly
  • Immediate placements available
  • Great rates of pay
  • Auto-enrol pension

What are you going to do

This role is ideal for someone who is looking for full-time, part-time or temporary work. British Nannies provides families with temporary and emergency in-home childcare, for example when their usual carer is not available or their nursery /school is closed. Requests come through daily; the start time could be any where from in a few hours to in a few weeks’ time. You’ll be provided with all the information you need to provide care for the family’s children in their own home, and our office team is always on hand to support you with any questions you may have.

We were first established in Southampton in the early 2000’s and originally called Hampshire Nannies. However very quickly, Hampshire Nannies began to grow. It quickly expanded across neighbouring counties, and British Nannies was formed. British Nannies provides temporary and emergency childcare for busy families all across the UK.

What we ask:

  • At least finished high school
  • You'll need to have (or be willing to apply for) a DBS / PVG / police check
  • Confident and can quickly build rapport with families
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Previous experience within the care industry
  • Paediatric first aid training and a formal childcare qualification such as an NVQ, CACHE or Common Core Skills certificate (desirable but not essential)
