What are you going to do:
Alpha-I is a growing technology startup and we are now expanding our business operations team.
At Alpha-I we developed a cloud-based predictive platform that helps organisations make accurate prediction. We use proprietary cutting edge artificial intelligence algorithms to find patterns that would otherwise go unnoticed, providing best in class and fully customized forecasting solutions.
We are on the lookout for a Business Development Intern to help us grow our sales pipeline. This is a great opportunity if you're interested in tech startups and either see yourself founding one or working for one in the future.
The role:
You will help us find the product market fit for our predictive platform. You will be gathering information about our prospective costumers and you will analyse the territory market potential.
What your role will involve:
- Develop new strategies to grow sales pipeline, analyse the territory's market potential, track sales and status report
- Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
- Perform cost/benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs
- Manage multiple lead sources, including incoming calls, emails, chats and referrals at a given time
- Create and deliver presentations targeted to audience's needs
- Manage existing customer database using Hubspot, to ensure all communications are logged and identified
- Keep abreast of promotional trends and best practices
What your role will involve:
- You're driven to solve problems and make a real impact.
- Experience or knowledge of Data Analysis and Machine Learning, with understanding of its business value.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, be comfortable engaging in conversation to a high technical bar and be a confident public speaker.
- 'Hands-on' work ethic - we are looking for people who just get things done and actively seek ownership.
- Prioritisation and time management skills
