Benfleet Teaching School Alliance has the opportunity to offer Physics and Maths undergraduates in their penultimate year a four week paid internship in a school in Essex during June/July 2018.
Overall Responsibilities: To gain experience working in a teaching environment within a school.
To develop knowledge,skills and understanding which will support an application into Initial Teacher Training, leading to a career in teaching.
Main Duties include: Observing and supportingteachers during lessons and running an extra-curricular club
Dates and Times: Induction day on Monday 11th June followed by 4 weeks, completing July 6th
Interns will work 8.15 am – 4.00pm
Pay: £300 a week for 4 weeks – paid in two instalments and calculated on actual days attended
