Join us and you'll become part of a team that works together to provide the best family restaurant experience – by far. If you've visited one of our restaurants before, you’ve probably got some idea of what's involved in working here. But you might not realise the variety and scope of the role.
A franchised restaurant is a restaurant operated by a local business person trading under the McDonald's name. Currently over half of our restaurants in the UK are franchised but from a customer point of view there's no difference. For employees there will be minor differences between a company and a franchised restaurant. Please refer to additional information for more details.
Your role will be to deliver outstanding hospitality, giving our customers a great experience so they leave a little happier while adapting to the individual needs of our customers ensuring that they want to visit us again. You will be there to deliver an authentic customer experience and enable us to stand out from our competitors by always putting the customer needs first and keeping them at the heart of everything you do. You will be there to create a great first impression and assist customers in their journey.
To be successful in this position you will need to be a real people person, always be smiling, love to chat and be at ease with people. You will be confident and outgoing, letting your personality shine through in everything you do. You will be genuine and skilled at ensuring customers feel welcome when they visit, putting their needs first and making them feel important. You will need to act boldly and immediately when somehting isn't working for our customers.
You will always be professional and lead by example. You will be self-aware and self-starting with great initiative and problem solving skills to ensure our customers feel highly satisified with each and every visit.
You will need to be able to handle difficult situations confidently while maintaining positive customer relations to ensure a resolution is reached and be able to proactively anticipate customer needs so they don't have to ask and delivering feel-good moments to each and every customer.
