About The Role
We’re recruiting for a Trading Specialist to join our Merchandising team at our support centre in Bradford on a part time basis for 12 months.
 
Please note that this role is a 12 month fixed term to cover maternity and is 24 hours per week (3 days) 
 
In this role you’ll be accountable for the presentation of ranges in stores and maintaining a planogram portfolio across a number of product categories. 
 
In the role you’ll be doing things like this;
  • Using customer insight to work with colleagues to ensure the right products are available
  • Creating easy to shop planograms that balance customer and commercial needs  
  • Providing support for categories end to end
  • Effectively using fixture space for sub-categories and products that optimise availability
  • Controlling product stock holding on planograms in key categories to reduce inventory levels and costs
  • Working with stakeholders to support the companies trading strategy, whilst ensuring the customer is at the heart of decision making

About You
You’ll need skills and experience like this;    
  • Analysis skills, ability to analyse sales and category data
  • Stakeholder and communication skills - ability to engage with colleagues, suppliers and customers   
  • Strong excel skills 
  • Retail experience, preferred but not essential 
  • Experience of creating category plans and using Merchandising systems is beneficial   
  • Ability to understand customer insights and use them to improve the shopping trip for customers is also beneficial
