Digital Analyst - Permanent

Purpose

A great opportunity to join the E Commerce team based in Peterborough Head Office. To support an area of digital analytics for the UK business, deploying their expertise in big data and web analytics to drive commercial value in eCommerce, supporting the transformation of the UK business to be digitally focussed and led by data. 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Analyse website behaviour to drive continued optimisation of the website for customers and to achieve the commercial targets set out for eCommerce
• Analyse and attribute site conversion activity to each acquisition channel accurately
• Develop performance reports and dashboards using variety of tools/methods
• Develop new business tools such as Attribution modelling and Tableau reporting to support the future growth of the eCommerce business
• Work closely with the E-Commerce team to optimise the prioritisation of the development backlog to maximise effectiveness of each release
• Ensure that a set of standardised metrics are established and adhered to which measure, and lead to continuous improvement in, site optimisation
• Where appropriate, work with external agencies and suppliers to support projects and deliver campaigns
• Deliver improvements in how our digital data is utilised in our pricing and yielding processes through consultation and provision of recommendations to Strategic Yield

What we need from you:

Must have:

• Experience of Big Data solutions, such as Google Big Query.
• Significant knowledge of Excel and SQL
• Experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Previous experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Knowledge in optimisation development and delivery
• Strong Communication skills with technical and non-technical audience

It would also be desirable if you could exemplify the following:

• Experience with Javascript and HTML
• Knowledge of attribution modelling
• Bachelor’s Degree in analytical field (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science etc)
