Production Intern in New Zealand

After the success of our Internship in Hong Kong, Fashion One is now seeking energetic talents to join our production internship program in Auckland, New Zealand! Are you passionate about production and always dreamed to be able to learn with professionals? Do you have a well-developed interest in cinematography, along with related experience? This includes film stills, a collection of photographs, a show reel of work or amateur films and videos, which demonstrate a passion for television and camerawork.

10 - 19 hours per week

What are you going to do:

You will receive constructive on-the-job training and the opportunity to take on real responsibility within a supportive and encouraging business environment.

Week 1-4:

  • Shooting in the Studio
  • lighting and multicamera setup
  • shooting plates

Week 5 and 6:

  • audio and audio post

Week 7-10:

  • lighting and shooting green screen
  • chroma key vs. other methods
  • post production of chroma keying
  • green screen and shallow depth of field


Week 11-13:

  • producing basics
  • budgeting and contracts

Please note this is NOT a paid internship. Fashion One is looking for passionate people are absolutely serious about filmmaking and pursuing a career in film and digital production.

Successful candidates should be able to sustain a living in New Zealand during their stay. Successful candidates will be sponsored for a visa in Hong Kong; so coming with a tourist visa first is fine.
