What Is Kreativ House
A unique space in the heart of Hackney, Kreativ House juxtaposes the laid back Aussie lifestyle with Scandi ultra-modern minimalism and a touch of East London charm. Set across 5 floors in a beautiful period building, you'll find inspiring event spaces, a curated art gallery, an artisan cafe and customised workspaces for the creative and curious.
The opportunity
An opportunity exists for a candidate to gain hands-on experience with emerging art and artists working alongside curators and dealers as well as working with buyers and visitors. There are many creative opportunities for the candidate to progress social media strategies and customer engagements forward and they will have input into forming and delivering these strategies. The candidate will receive operations training and first-hand experience running a gallery and creative work space.
Main role and responsibility:
- Assist with opening and closing of the work space and gallery
- Point of call for the Gallery and artist when needed
- Provide great customer service to anyone visiting the gallery of work space.
- Ensure that the gallery is clean and tidy
- Ensure that the art is well looked after
- Assist with the delivery of new artwork for new exhibitions
- Help with sourcing new artist for the gallery
- Assist with events which maybe out of hours
- Provide refreshment for visiting members of Kreativ House and the gallery
- General administration related to gallery projects
- Promote exhibitions on social media and other channels
- Respond to gallery emails
- Help with Kreativ House events
- Assisting with Kreativ House operations
