OverviewTargeted Provision is seeking Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to support young learners with SEND and SEMH needs across the UK.

Role Requirements

Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma‐informed way

Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)

Compliance: Enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and 2+ professional references

Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs

Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs

Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1‐KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‐informed tutoring and mentoring

Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress

Work as part of a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND and other needs such as SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD

Employment Status

This position involves engaging with us on a self‐employed basis, as and when opportunities arise
