Role: Senior Reliability & Warranty Engineer

 

Location: Hangar 1 Manchester

 

Working Hours: 37 per week

 

Job Purpose: To provide a professional, effective & productive Engineering / Technical Service in support of the company’s business & contracted customers as a member of the Engineering Services team.

  

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervision & Development of the Reliability, Maintenance Findings & Warranty Department.
  • Deliver the TCAE Reliability Management Programme (RMP), ensuring compliance with EASA Part M,  National and International Standards.
  • Maintenance & Development of Company Procedures & Departmental Instructions relating to the role.
  • Review of Reliability Data and scheduled maintenance findings in support of AMP amendments, corrective actions and business support.
  • Control the production, quality and distribution of reliability reports, maintenance findings reports and supporting documentation for the reliability review meetings and chair the meetings.
  • Production of the monthly Group Maintenance Organization reliability report for all Thomas Cook fleets.
  • Support Maintrol in defect management and repetitive defect alert processes.
  • Supervise the delivery of warranty services for components and A/C structures.

  • To maintain a productive environment within the Reliability/Warranty Department
  • To establish a personal and professional credibility within all areas of TCAE and its supported Operators and Contractors.
  • To ensure that professional and International standards are maintained

Capabilities Profile – technical skills/knowledge, experience & track record.

 

Must have:

 

  • Experience in Reliability and Maintenance Findings, with a working knowledge of MSG3 analysis and Aircraft Maintenance Programme development.
  • Computer literate, hands-on skills with Microsoft Office applications, experience with AMOS would be an advantage.
  • Proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply Technical Documentation.
  • Leadership, the ability to build and motivate teams and individuals.
  • A passion for improving (aircraft) safety and maintenance efficiencies.
  • The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team to achieve reliability, business oriented and group objectives.

     

     

     

     

    Preferred:

     

  • Experience of working within an Airline / MRO Technical Services Environment
  • Working knowledge of Human Factors
  • Understanding of Safety Management Systems   

 

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships or Accreditations

 

  • Degree, Higher National Diploma or equivalent in the field of  Engineering
  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
