What are you going to do:
This position will create marketing materials for Jerk Island Grill and events and manage the social media plan outlined by the office. The student in this position will assist in the creation of posters, fliers, t-shirts and any other advertising and marketing pieces.
Education/Experience
- Experience in graphic design and social media communication is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
- Must be well organized, reliable, hardworking, and creative with minimal direction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
- Knowledge of Social Media sites (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to travel to Southend Essex for a weekly meeting or work from home with meetings twice a week via Facetime/Skype or telephone
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Essential Functions

- Communicate and promote events and services for Jerk Island Grill
