As an Army Reserve Musician you are expected to commit to 27 days per year minimum and complete 7 days basic military training. You do your rehearsals/performances in the evenings and at weekends and you get paid for the time you spend rehearsing and performing. We are looking for brass, woodwind and percussion instrumentalists to carry out various engagements around the country with the opportunities to perform abroad as well as to a wide variety of audiences. You will also be given opportunities to travel and take part in adventure training including- skiing, water-sports etc as well as being able to gain your driving licence and further driving licence categories.

Responsibilities and Duties
Attend regular rehearsals (1 evening per week) and to perform at engagements both military and civillian.
Qualifications and Skills
Grade 6 or above on your chosen instrument.

This post would suit music students, but is open to any student who can perform their instrument to a minimum standard of grade 6.
Various driving licenses can be obtained through the army.
