Impact Management Project Coordinator in London

Transforming our data management system across our charity - refining what data we collect, why we collect it, how we collect it, and creating a system that will completely change how we prove the worth of what we do.

15 hours per week
Between £28,000 and £32,000 Per Year

What are you going to do:

We are embarking on a new project to review and improve how we measure our impact and effectiveness across our organisation, and then how we present that to our stakeholders – both internal and external.

It will involve quite substantial change – as we will be critically evaluating our current processes, reviewing the value of our end goals both across the organisation, and for each of our projects, and implementing new data measurement systems.

We are seeking to appoint a member of staff who can work together with our external consultant to deliver this project. They must have the confidence, enthusiasm and analytical skills to help lead and support our staff to make the changes necessary to each of their projects, and to implement new measurement procedures in order to ensure they are gathering useful and relevant data. We also need someone who has a keen interest in data management processes, as we will potentially be setting up a new database, and they will be playing a key role in its design and rollout, to ensure this is effective for our purposes.

What we offer:

  • A positive and collaborative working environment
  • A supportive team; ongoing support and encouragement
  • Work reference
  • The opportunity to learn first-hand how a small charity operates.

What we ask:

  • No minimum education required
  • • Experience of implementing change, across small staff or volunteer teams.
  • • Experience of project management.
  • • Experience of working with bespoke databases, and reviewing their effectiveness
  • • Experience of using Microsoft Excel.
  • • Ability to conduct data research and analysis, and reporting on findings.
  • • Ability to facilitate group conversations to gather feedback and ideas from project participants and stakeholders.
  • • Ability to review effectiveness of project activities and suggest potential adaptations.
  • • Ability to support staff to implement regular data collection, in the face of potential resistance
  • • Report writing for non-technical audiences.

Please apply by sending your CV and a cover letter that outlines how you meet each point listed above in skills and experience, by Monday morning 13th August at 9am.
